Depman/packman does use update-rpms, but the db driving update-rpms is
on the headnode.  Getting that out to the compute nodes is part of the
oscar-httpd plan...

So, Imma thinkin' you should just use raw rpm commands via cexec the
whack the offending rpms on the clients.
