Hi Fernando:

I really suggest diving into the script set_node_nics to see what's wrong - the 
script does try to check if your interface already exists in the database, and 
then remove the entry and update it.  It parses the output of ifconfig heavily, 
so there's a chance that your output is slightly different...?
