In typescript.2, line 2215, note the following:
<== NG Glide3 Providing RPM not found
<== NG arpwatch Providing RPM not found
<== NG finger-server Providing RPM not found
<== NG libaio-devel Providing RPM not found
<== NG perl-Bit-Vector Providing RPM not found
<== NG perl-Date-Calc Providing RPM not found
<== NG postfix-pflogsumm Providing RPM
not found
<== NG tftp Providing RPM not found
These error reports indicate files are missing, and if you check the
ls(1) of /tftpboot/rpm you also provided in the same typescript file,
you will find that yes, all of these files are actually missing.
This indcates the /opt/oscar/oscarsamples/fedora-2-i386.rpmlist file is
incorrect for FC3, this is not a surprising result. You could fix this
by creating a new, valid,
/opt/oscar/oscarsamples/fedora-3-i386.rpmlist
file that references the appropriate files for FC3; then make sure this
new file is selected in Step 4 instead of the FC2 file.
Notes about the missing files
Glide3 is only present because it's in the FC2 rpmlist
arpwatch is only present because it's in the FC2 rpmlist
finger-srever is only present because it's in the FC2 rpmlist
libaio-devel is only present because it's in the FC2 rpmlist,
NOTE: libaio is needed by LAM.
perl-Bit-Vector is needed by mta-config
perl-Date-Calc is needed by mta-config
postfix-pflogsumm is needed by mta-config, and is provided by FC2
Later on, at line 2269, there is:
error: Failed dependencies:

xorg-x11 is needed by xorg-x11-tools-6.8.1-12.i386
- I don't know why xorg-x11, perl-AppConfig, or xterm were not passed to
rpm(1) to install.
- The libstdc++.so.5 problem is likely due to FC2-built lam rpms.
- On RHL9, the sessreg and xsetroot files are provided by XFREE86, so
this may be due to xorg-x11 not being passed to rpm(1).
BTW, the above are needed for the image, so no amount of linking on the
headnode will help...
