You had missing RPMs (you said you failed to load RPMs from the 4th CD).
Those missing RPMs resulted in error messages that included Red
Herrings.

The added to the trunk properly reports the missing RPMs, and prevents
the code from stumbling into the other errors.

So, there's still another error, the Red Herring errors, that is now
prevented by the reporting of the missing RPM errors.  I'll look at the
RH errors post 4.1.
