Hey,

I finally managed to get up to speed (well a slow jog) on the MDK stuffo.
In response to this file/cruft point:
    packages/perl-Qt/RPMS/perl-Qt-mdk-3.006-5.i586.rpm

I went ahead and removed this file from both branch-4-1 and trunk. This
was for an earlier version of MDK that was supported by OSCAR and seems to
be superceeded by
     packages/perl-Qt/RPMS/perl-Qt-mdk10-3.008-4mdk.i568.rpm

This is what is reflected in the current
     packages/perl-Qt/config.xml

        <rpmlist>
          <filter distribution='mandrake' group='oscar_server'/>
          <rpm>perl-Qt-mdk10</rpm>
        </rpmlist>

I confirmed the following:
   (1) The perl-Qt-mdk (not perl-Qt-mdk10) version was listed
       in old config.xml for MDK 9.0

http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/oscar/branches/branch-4-0/packages/perl-Qt/config.xml

   (2) The current perl-Qt-mdk10 has RPM Requires: info for libsmoke and
       the appropriate RPM with this requirement (libsmoke1) is included
       in the packages/perl-Qt/RPMS/ directory.

Hope that clarifies matters a bit. On to more MDK fun. ;)

He have now 4 developers working to make Mandrake 10.0 work with 4.1,
which is, at that point, a "must work". I have had success with this
set
before, a not so many weeks ago, and the only problem remaining at that
time was the MySQL bug, which DongInn managed to correct.

This is why running from a *clean* system, either on vmware, created by kickstart, or reloaded from SI is so very important.
