What version of the SVN client are you using? Are you perhaps going
through a web proxy (explicit or implicit) that perhaps doesn't fully
support DAV?
Nope, only one of those home h/w firewall/nat/routers that have never
given me a problem before.

As previously reported, checkout and commit work fine, it's just "status
