Category: Interface Group: 4.2 Status: Open Resolution: Fixed Priority: 9 Submitted By: Erich Focht (efocht) Assigned to: Erich Focht (efocht) Summary: perl-Qt package selector error Initial Comment: On rhel4-ia64 I get the following error message when trying to open the package selector (Step 1): Can't load '/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/auto/Qt/Qt.so' for module Qt: /opt/perl-Qt/lib/libsmokeqt.so.1: undefined symbol: .L716 at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/ia64-linux-thread-multi/XSLoader.pm line 68. at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/Qt.pm line 889 Compilation failed in require at Selector.pl line 14. Mandriva and perl-Qt have a closed and separation relation. It does not use the same rpms as the others ( libsmokeqt1-1.2.1-3mdk.i586.rpm and perl-Qt-mdk10-3.008-4mdk.i586.rpm) and everything's working fine. I don't want to try to chage that now and think is not necessary. This bug can be closed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Erich Focht (efocht) Date: 2005-08-30 10:43 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=338721 Merged to branch (3623). DongInn checked in fc2 RPMs. Keeping the bug open until madriva RPMs are rebuilt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bernard Li (bernardli) Date: 2005-08-29 06:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=879102 Erich, this can be merged with branch since it is now a priority 9 bug. BTW, this is the original line for the spec file which worked on RHEL4 ia64: sed 's/-O //g' smoke/qt/Makefile | sed 's/-O2//g' | sed 's/-O0//g' > smoke/qt/Makefile.new However, if the current code works, that's fine :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: John (muglerj) Date: 2005-08-26 20:23 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=505737 Upping to 9. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Erich Focht (efocht) Date: 2005-08-26 11:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=338721 This is a show-stopper on rhel4-ia64. Raising priority to 8. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109368&aid=1273950&group_id=9368 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Oscar-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oscar-devel
