Summary: ia32el RPM missing from Centos

Initial Comment:
Image build on a Centos 4.1 ia64 (RHEL4 clone) fails
because the package ia32el isn't included in CentOS.

I think the reason for not including this is that the license of
this package in RedHat-EL4 is LGPL/Commercial. The
ia32el package contains the ia32 execution layer needed
for running ia32 applications. This is some sort of an
emulator and I bet the rights for the package are more in
the hands of Intel than those of RedHat.

We can solve this in 2 ways:
- Leave the package out of the rpmlist (which would be fine
with me, recently I didn't see anybody trying to run ia32
applications on Itaniums)
- Create a centos-ia64 rpmlist without this package and put
an advice in the manual to select this rpmlist when creating
an image on centos-4-ia64.

ScientificLinux includes the package, by the way. A third
solution could be to add a download link to the manual for
Centos users.

How should we proceed?

this is a show-stopper for centos-ia64, so I raise the priority.
