Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Installation Group: 4.2 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Erich Focht (efocht) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: install fails if /proc mounted in image Initial Comment: Sometimes /proc remains mounted in the image. It just happened to me now with RHEL4-ia64 and a freshly created image. When this happens, the rsync command will fail because it tries to sync virtual files from /proc which are long gone. I am not sure about the place where this should be fixed. There is nothing which _has_ to be executed when (re-)installing a node, the closest thing is the starting of the si_monitord. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109368&aid=1277275&group_id=9368 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Oscar-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oscar-devel
