Summary: gmond segfaults on rhel4 ia64

Initial Comment:
ganglia test fails because there is real trouble. 
On RHEL4-ia64 (actually CentOS 4.1) gmond segfaults: 
 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] oscartst]# gmond -d 1 
Segmentation fault

The reason for the failure is that the directory structure 
used for the ganglia package doesn't comply at all with 
the structure expected by generic-setup. 
distro/common-rpms contains a bunch of RPMs for any 
architecture and distro. Obviously these RPMs won't work 
on every distro. common-rpms should just contain RPMs 
which are common to all distros and architecture 
independent.
