Hey guys:   I got to the bottom of the pci.lst issue Jeremy is having.  Basically this file came from a debian package called discover-data and it seems that there are a few wrong references to piix where it should actually be ata_piix.  We can fix this in a few ways:   1) Fix our SystemImager RPM such that pci.lst is patched (this requires us filing a bug at the tracker and raising it to priority 9) 2) Provide patched versions of boel_binaries (one for each arch) in our downloads area   What do you guys think?   Cheers,   Bernard From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Bernard Li Sent: Wed 31/08/2005 17:45 To: OSCAR-devel List Subject: [Oscar-devel] FW: OSCAR Testing update Hey guys:   This is from Jeremy.   Cheers,   Bernard   P.S. Everything went smoothly, except for the following gliches:   1)     Crash during client node build. RPM is unable to install the i386 compat libraries (that special section in the rpm.list) due to the standard libraries not being installed yet. The script says “forced” install, but it still fails on missing dependencies. QUICK_FIX: commented out those compat libraries. Installed them directly on the image after it was built. RECOMMENDED_FIX: Install everything in the i386 section *after* the x86_64 stuff. 2)     SiS pci.lst file in the boel_binaries tarball has numerous errors for Intel PIIX chipset (SATA). Proper driver name is “ata_piix” and it’s listed as “piix”. This causes Intel SATA hardware drivers to go unloaded. FIX: Edited the file and rebuilt the tarball.   I love the new SI build monitor.   -Jeremy
