On your systems, does /var/log/cron show that sync_files is running every 15 minutes on the head node?
This is the 4.2 beta 5 that we installed last week. The 4.2 final was not available when we started the install. -----Original Message----- From: John Mugler [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, November 08, 2005 2:36 PM To: Siadal, Jeremy C Cc: Oscar-devel List Subject: Re: [Oscar-devel] sync_files and crond Well, 4.2 is final. Do you mean a 4.2.1b1? I guess it doesn't make much difference to the bug. I just checked and it appears that our crontab file is ok. There is no <CR> after the appended line however in /etc/crontab. Also, the stuff gets pushed out as expected. This is an older copy of 4.2b2 i think running on centos, x86-64. Go ahead and file a bug if you think you have a problem. Something may have happened somewhere along the line. -- John On Tue, 8 Nov 2005, Siadal, Jeremy C wrote: > Let me kick this around to the group before I post a bug. > > > > I just finished installing two 36-node clusters (em64t and Itanium 2) > using the latest beta of OSCAR 4.2 on RHEL3U5.
