The god news about Mandriva and python-elementtree is that

- currently, the elementtree installed with apitest is placed under python2.3
section, which works fine for 10.1

- python-elementtree only comes in 2006 and installs under python2.4 section,
which works fine for 2006.

The problem, as was already pointed, is that the apitest spec file demands
elementtree. What I did, and woked, was change the spec file so to ask for
python-elementtree instead of elementtree, and rebuild the package. The bad
aspect is that we will have to change the config.xml of apitest (today there's
an 'oscar_server' section for all distros).

What do you think?

Fernando

Well, 2006 has a 'python-elementtree' package in the 'contribs' sections, which should work. 10.1 doesn't have one, but I think I can easily rebuild the sources from 2006 and see what happens.

Is contribs part of the 7 CDs version?

Cheers,

Bernard
