Hi Chris: Fernando is working on Mandriva Linux 2006 x86 support in trunk and I imagine once that is stabilized then it won't be too hard to add x86_64 support (it would just be a matter of rebuilding a bunch of RPMs).
It would be great if you can help us with this effort!
