Previously when you re-run package_config_xmls_to_database for a particular package dir, the config.xml will be read and the database will be re-populated with the new information - however, I don't think this is happening any more.

My current config.xml for the "base" package has "redhat" for the RHEL filter (this is wrong).  This information was entered into the OSCAR database.  I modified the config.xml such that it is now "rhel" (correct one) and re-ran the script as follows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] scripts]# ./package_config_xmls_to_database /opt/oscar/packages/base/

I expect the old database entry to be overwritten and it should now have "rhel" instead of "redhat" but this does not seem to be the case.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Bernard
