The text for both documents came from release-notes.tex and has been fixed in the SVN branch - the updated docs will be available in the next beta:

BTW, these same issues occur in the larger "install.pdf" file as well.
It is just that they occur on pages 12 (for the first thing below) and
10 (for the second item).
