Title: [Oscar-devel] Problems with installing Oscar 4.2.1b4r4223 on Suse 10 AMD 64-bit edition
Hi Simonen:

Thanks for the email!

OSCAR actually currently does not support SuSE.  Folks at Seneca College (they should be lurking on this list ;-) ) are working on a port right now for OSCAR trunk (development version).  There is a fair bit of work being done and they are making good progress.  If you would like to help port OSCAR to SuSE, then I can put you in touch with them.

Please let us know if you can help - we would appreciate your support!

Cheers,

Bernard

Subject: [Oscar-devel] Problems with installing Oscar 4.2.1b4r4223 on Suse 10 AMD 64-bit edition

Hi all and thank you for really good software, Oscar!

I have used Oscar with good results in CentOS 4.2 64-bit edition. Our main OS is Suse, so Oscar should also install to that. But in real life it isn't so easy to do. I have read Oscar mailing lists, developement and user, but no lock. Only Suse 9.X was used with Oscar with partial success. I tried to fit Suse 9.X instructions to Suse 10.0, but still no luck.

This kind of error message stops all the things:
