Hello

We had a problem with Packman and the following information and files from Bernard Li helped:

Regarding the fix for Packman, the files are available here:

http://www.bcgsc.ca/downloads/oscar/suse/

- perl-IO-Tty needs to reside in packages/yume/distro/suse10.0-i386
- prereq.cfg needs to reside in packages/yume

This fix allowed the install_cluster program to run alot further but then stopped at the following:

So what I did was compile and install the SRPM for update-rpms found in /oscar-5.0a1r4895-20060530/share/prereqs/update-rpms/SRPMS/ . Here is a snippet from the oscarinstall.log:

I am wondering if the installer is not creating the required RPMS from the Oscar provided SRPMS?

I am planning the compile a few of these and copy the compiled RPMS into /tftpboot/distro/suse-10.0-i386

Dose anyone else have any better suggestions?
