Hi Erich:
I just did a fresh
installation of SUSE Linux 10.0 and it did not work for me.
In my local repository, I
reverted my changes to edit_ganglia_conf, and also deleted the ganglia-web RPM
from the distro/suse-10.0 directory, so this should be almost the same as what
it should be like before I checked in my change.
When I point my browser to
the Ganglia page, I get:
Object not found!
Object not found!
The requested URL was not
found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling
and try again.
If you think this is a server
error, please contact the webmaster.

It
worked for me.
What I find ugly is to enforce ganglia to live in
/srv/www/htdocs, which is
actually more an example (some docs) than a
reasonable place for your
web
root.
