Title: [Oscar-devel] Rebuilding MAUI
Hi Fernando:

The new MAUI SRPM I checked in should fix the problem you encounter - it hardcodes "root" as ADMIN1.

I'm thinking that this should not be a problem when we integrate with SGE, since I think we'll need a separate RPM called maui-sge anyways ;-)

Can you please test this and let us know if it's fixed now?

Cheers,

Bernard

Hi Fernando:

Looks like you're right - can you please update the wiki?

http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/BuildRPM

Also, we can probably "fix" this in the Maui spec file by changing maui.cfg to always use "root" as the admin user - however this will cause problems in the future if we choose to integrate MAUI with SGE as SGE's admin user is "sge" instead of "root".

Thanks,

Bernard

Subject: [Oscar-devel] Rebuilding MAUI

Hello,
I've have rebuilded Maui for Mandriva this morning as a regular user and it haven't passed the tests. Then I realised that /opt/maui/maui.cfg was showing my regular user name as admin, where root should be the admin - what explain the tests faillures.
So, this is, then, a prerequisite? This package must be rebuilded always as root? If so, we should add this to the Wiki, with the other infos regarding how to build packages as SGE...
Cheers,
