Hi Kamran, Just few remarks: - your spec file is written to use the local system to create the package. You should not do that, the following spec file is a good example of what you are supposed to do: at the URL https://oscar.openclustergroup.org/websvn, see the file OSCAR/pkgsrc/rapt/trunk/rapt.spec - the following part of the spec file is kind of weird because you have macros to untar the source file and so on: %setup rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_DIR/dipc-oscar-2.1 cd $RPM_BUILD_DIR tar xfz $RPM_SOURCE_DIR/dipc-oscar-2.1.tgz - the config.xml file seems to be fine but i do not see the rest of the OSCAR package. Is your OSCAR package done? or is it not ready yet? i first thought it was the dipc-oscar-2.1.tgz file but it is definitively not an OSCAR package.
