For those who do not know, or may have forgotten, you can actually automatically close Trac tickets if you reference it in your check-in message. Eg. if the check-in you are working on fixes bug #222, then in your log message you would write:
--- Closes #222 - this is what I did to fix... --- This will automatically close #222 with the SVN check-in message as the closing comment. Other "commands" will also work, like Fixes, completes, etc...
