Actually it will probably be sufficient if we just tag the date to the VERSION
file - just like how the filename of the nightly tarball is like:
5.0a1r5295-20060810.

Thanks,

Bernard

Subject: [Oscar-devel] [nightly tarballs] tag "nightly" to OSCAR_VERSION

I would like to request that "nightly" be tagged onto the OSCAR_VERSION file as
part of the nightly tarball build process. So instead of a version like
5.0a1r5257, I would get 5.0a1r5257nightly.

This will help to quickly identify that the particular version we're working
with is from a nightly snapshot.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Bernard
