Hi DongInn, if you just want to access the database with OSCAR::Database, do you still need the mysql client package? We now have $OSCAR_HOME/libs/OSCAR on all clients, so maybe you just need to install perl-DBI and perl-DBD-MySQL.
I think you should do what is necessary to get access to ODA from clients, that's what we wanted when we copied the libs to the client images...
