Can you please point me to these posts? As far as I know support for fc6-i386 was "working" prior to the overhaul in trunk (I was using it) and I believe Allan had good luck with this (he has since moved onto fc7) Not saying it is fully supported (for instance I only ported core packages and a lot of the included packages were not rebuilt) but it is definitely possible to deploy a fc6 cluster with OSCAR.
