Hi all, If like me you have periodically issues with images when you do OSCAR developments (images you cannot erase, images that are not in the database but you cannot reuse the image name and so on), i created a new modules for the Sanity_Check framework that gives some details about the actual situation.
This module checks if ODA, the SIS database and the file system are synchronized regarding images. Typically it gets and compares the list of images: - in the SIS database, - in ODA, - in the file system (i.e., directories in /var/lib/systemimager/images). BTW, i have always a empty entry in the "images" table with ODA, is it normal? The few lines of documentation are there: http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/DevSanityCheck The next step will be to try to automatically fix the problems but that's another story.
