Hi, The answer is very simple: using an OPKG it is modular, flexible, easy to extend, and trivial to do. For instance, it is possible to easily say that you want to explicitly deactivate selinux using the OPKG only on Fedora distros and the others. According to me, if you create a fix with a direct modification of the post image script it is a pretty ugly solution since you apply the stuff all the time, for all distributions.
