Thanks DongInn, Geoffroy and Erich,

I would love to help port the OSCAR trunkn version(5.1) to RHEL by
testing/debugging.
My efforts in tinkering with OS_Detect.pm went in vain, as I don't fully
understand why it detects the distro as both -- "redhat-el-server-5-i386'
and 'redhat-el-5Server-i386' at the same time.

I did somehow manage to make it run by tweaking the Smart Package manager by
changing the distro variable. I made the following change to the file -

PackageSmart.pm Line 74:

my $distros = "debian|fc|mdv|rhel|suse|redhat";

I know that's not a very smart way to do it, but hey that works! :)

Eric, My /etc/redhat-release file reads
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5 (Tikanga)
