Hi all, Yesterday, during the call, we spoke about the usage of a configuration to slowly move to a state where OSCAR can be directly installed into the system.
Multiple Perl modules exist to ease the management of such configuration file, one of the most famous is AppConfig. But i have the following question: Can we assume such module is installed _before_ users try to use OSCAR for the first time (typically it means that when we will ship OSCAR via binary packages we will have a dependency with AppConfig)? I ask the question because if we do not assume that, it makes the bootstrap more complex; and i think we can assume it is already installed (since we target the usage of binary packages and since all the distros i know provide AppConfig). Any comments? Regards ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
