Hi, I have tested branch-5-1 on RHEL4-X86 and everything seems to work fine now except for a lam testing. http://www.osl.iu.edu/~dikim/oscar_test_on_rhel4.png test_cluster on gui had the lam test fail but it was fine on the command line. :-(
Please refer to the updated README file on the nightly tarball page to test branch-5-1 on RHEL4. http://oscar.openclustergroup.org/public/nightly/branch/README Please be aware of that only the step 3 at "A very basic HOWTO:" has been updated. BTW, I have built python-oscar rpms to setup python-2.4.4 on RHEL4. These rpms have been pretty useful to build the opkg meta rpms on RHEL4. All you have to do is download python-oscar-2.4.4-19.i686.rpm and python-oscar-devel-2.4.4-19.i686.rpm and then install them. Since these rpms are totally independent of the RHEL4's existing python-2.3.*, they can be freely added/removed. Once they are installed, in order to use the python-2.4.4, use the python module setup on modules-oscar rebuilt for only RHEL4. (e.g., module load python). http://www.osl.iu.edu/~dikim/python-oscar/ Regards, -- - DongInn ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
