Hi all,

Since i never remember where OSCAR tarballs are available and where to
install them, i wrote a small tool to install oscar: oscar-installer.
The tool supports both online and offline installation; you can also
slightly change oscar-installer parameters modifying its configuration
file (/etc/oscar-installer/oscar-installer.conf).

I created a RPM for OSCAR-5.0:
http://www.csm.ornl.gov/srt/downloads/oscar-installer/oscar-installer-5.0-2.noarch.rpm

So typically with this tool, for on online installation, do the
following:
- download the package
- install the package (rpm -Uvh ./oscar-installer-5.0-2.noarch.rpm)
- execute 'oscar-installer <distro_id>'

To get the list of available distros, just type 'oscar-installer'.

For more details and in order to know how to use oscar-installer for an
offline installation, please refer to the man page: 'man
oscar-installer'.

Feedback is more than welcome. :-)

Regards,

PS: i will try to create a RPM for oscar-5.1b1
