Olivier, Actually it is already possible to do that in some extends: the CLI (which is not yet documented and still need testing) can accept files as input and will therefore drive the full configuration of the cluster. So typically, you just need to save those files and then you can "replay" what you did. Wesley Bland in collaboration with a few people from ORNL implemented that capability a while ago.
This kind of capabilities will be slowly documented and stabilized after the release of 6.1.0. So let's work on 6.1.0 as fast as possible so we can then focus on this kind of things. :-) Regards, ----- "Olivier LAHAYE" <olivier.lah...@cea.fr> a écrit : > Would be great to register all GUI actions/config to an > "oscar_kickstart.conf" file so if the cluster is to be recreated from > scratch, an > oscar_wizard --auto_install oscar_kickstart.conf would replay the full > wizard again. > > That would be very helpful for disaster recovery, and IMHO, it > shouldn't't be that much difficult to implement. > > Regards, > > -- > Olivier LAHAYE > CEA Saclay > DRT-LIST-DETECS-SSTM > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 > 30-Day > trial.
