Hi, On our little oscar cluster (CentOS 5.5) we have 3 RAID Volumes (hardware controlled with Megaraid Software Manager): - system: RAID 1 : 250G - home: RAID 6 : 3T - storage: RAID 6 : 13T
smartmontools is installed per default on the master. I have noticed that all the disks have their smart capabilities off. Is there any drawbacks to use smartmontools with RAID Volumes in a cluster ?
