DongInn,
I saw many comment from you in googling explaining how to manage repos, so I
assume that you have a clear vision on this point. My question then is: do you
think that yume could be enhanced in the way mandriva urpmi parallel works?
I mean:
yume --update-cluster
or yume --update-all would:
1/ list all rpms on destinations (head, nodes and images if update-all)
2/ download the needed packages
3/ create a temporary local repo
4/ cexec a yume for nodes update
5/ run a yume for eache images
6/ run a yume for the head if not in cexec
7/ remove the temporary repo if success.
I think that would greatly help the cluster maintenance.
What do you think?
Best regards,
Olivier.
