I've uploaded all pbs_python material I had.
I've uploaded the job_monarch-0.4-pre source tarball to the download directory
(need sync)
I've put in the rpm directory 2 patches I wrote for jobmonarch-0.4-pre (do not
exists elswhere)
I've updated the Makefile (still used?) and created the pbs_python.cfg file.
I've updated the build.cfg, but I must admit that I'm lost here.
I think that this file is wrong and unfortunately, I'm unable to find again the
clear doc that explain the build.cfg format.
what needs to be in this file is:
- jobmonarch is a noarch rpm
- pbs_python is a x86_64 rpm
- jobmonarch build requires are: pbs_python, and many other stuffs (see spec)
- pbs_python build requires python2-devel and libtorque-devel (libtorque-devel
which is provided by torque:build.cfg: torque-oscar-devel)....=> I'm lost here:
do we put torque:torque-oscar-devel as dependancy so the build system will
build and install it if not done or should we put libtorque-devel as a
dependancy and then yum will use the highest version of a package providing
this feature (but build will fail if we don't have such a package available
online). IMHO, the 1st solution helps making sure that we build jobmonach with
our torque package, but I'm lost in the build.cfg syntacx to explain this.
So I've done what I could for the build.cfg, but please, have a look at it, I'm
pretty sure it is wrong or at least incomplete.
