DongInn, I see no reason why we should be in $PKGDEST (= /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64) when doing the mv. We should be in /tmp/oscar-packager/openmpi. I have no time to do more tonight (need some sleep ;-)
Could you upgrade oscar-base-libs at least. I've updated a few things there like tgz recognition, but maybe other things I miss to remember. The best would be to upgrade all things related to oscar-packager. Then test again. I you could tell me if the problem persists, that would help me tomorrow. Note that on my fc-17, the problem does not occure. neither on my rhel-6 VM... Regards, Olivier. PS: I'm doing a full rebuild on fc-17 and rhel-6 right now. I hope to see the 100% completion this time...Cross fingers ;-) ----- Mail original ----- > De: "LAHAYE Olivier" <olivier.lah...@cea.fr> > À: oscar-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > Envoyé: Lundi 8 Avril 2013 19:17:24 > Objet: [Oscar-devel] RE : Building problem with Open MPI on FC-18 > > > This is wired, OSCAR::Packager::create_binary line 455 is where the > problem occures. > It looks like $CWD is the repository.... > > I'll try to give a look tonigh (need to leave now). > > Olivier. > > -- > Olivier LAHAYE > CEA DRT/LIST/DCSI/DIR > > ________________________________________ > De : DongInn Kim [di...@cs.indiana.edu] > Date d'envoi : lundi 8 avril 2013 18:58 > À : Devel OSCAR > Objet : [Oscar-devel] Building problem with Open MPI on FC-18 > > Hi, > > Here is a problem with building OpenMPI on FC-18. > > > Building only RPMs, passed arguments are interpreted as SRPMs > > Executing: mv ./*openmpi-switcher-modulefile*.rpm > > /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64 > > mv: ‘./openmpi-switcher-modulefile-1.6.3-2.fc18.noarch.rpm’ and > > ‘/tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64/openmpi-switcher-modulefile-1.6.3-2.fc18.noarch.rpm’ > > are the same file > > ERROR: Impossible to execute mv ./*openmpi-switcher-modulefile*.rpm > > /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64 at /bin/oscar-packager line 326. > > ERROR: Impossible to create the binary > > (openmpi-switcher-modulefile, 0, /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64) at > > /bin/oscar-packager line 326. > > ERROR: Impossible to build a binary (/tmp/oscar-packager/openmpi) > > at /bin/oscar-packager line 326. > > ERROR: Impossible to build some binaries at /bin/oscar-packager > > line 326. > > ERROR: Impossible to prepare the prereqs > > (/tmp/oscar-packager/openmpi, /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64) at > > /bin/oscar-packager line 326. > > ERROR: Impossible to manage prereqs for the creation of the binary > > package at /bin/oscar-packager line 327. > > main::create_package('HASH(0x1e58858)', 'HASH(0x1e58750)') > > called at /bin/oscar-packager line 466 > > > > main::do_packaging('/etc/oscar/oscar-packager/included_unstable.cfg', > > '/etc/oscar/oscar-packager/included_opkgs_unstable.cfg') > > called at /bin/oscar-packager line 540 > > main::package_included('openmpi', 'ARRAY(0x1e3ef00)', > > '/etc/oscar/oscar-packager') called at /bin/oscar-packager > > line 598 > > #/usr/bin/build_package --type rpm --output > > /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64 --url > > http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/pkgs/downloads/openmpi-1.6.3.tar.bz2 > > --package-name openmpi-oscar --verbose > > > > ============================================================================= > > == Preparing pool: /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64 > > ============================================================================= > > > > CHECKSUM: /tmp/pool_oscar_fc-18-x86_64.md5 > > new:8667e5c6bb8b65fcd33e47ae28362421 > > old:89310f41fbca81eab47e60556211c4f3 > > Pool type: rpm > > Repository /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64 is now ready. > > > > ============================================================================= > > == [INFO] Generated binary packages are in > > /tftpboot/oscar/fc-18-x86_64 > > ============================================================================= > > > > Errors occured during the OSCAR packaging. > > OSCAR components that failed are: at /bin/oscar-packager line 468. > > > > main::do_packaging('/etc/oscar/oscar-packager/included_unstable.cfg', > > '/etc/oscar/oscar-packager/included_opkgs_unstable.cfg') > > called at /bin/oscar-packager line 540 > > main::package_included('openmpi', 'ARRAY(0x1e3ef00)', > > '/etc/oscar/oscar-packager') called at /bin/oscar-packager > > line 598 > > [ openmpi ] > > Array: 1 element(s) > > [root@fedora fc-18-x86_64]# yum install modules-oscar > > Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit > > Package modules-oscar-3.2.9c-2.x86_64 already installed and latest > > version > > Nothing to do > > [root@fedora fc-18-x86_64]# > > It seems that oscar-pakcager does not really move the files properly? > > Regards, > > -- > - DongInn > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Minimize network downtime and maximize team effectiveness. > Reduce network management and security costs.Learn how to hire > the most talented Cisco Certified professionals.
