Hi Sachim,

OSCAR is a Beowulf cluster management software suite. nothing more. By
understanding Beowulft type cluster you will be able to get the answer to your
question.

Wikipedia Beowulft cluster page states:
Provisioning of operating systems and other software for a Beowulf Cluster can
be automated using software, Open Source Cluster Application
Resources<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Source_Cluster_Application_Resources>
 (OSCAR) for example. OSCAR installs on top of a standard installation of a
supported Linux distribution on a cluster's head node.

Olivier.

Hi Olivier,
 There was reference to my mail
-->Message: 2
. But no answer is given to my question...
...can a OSCAR cluster reduce computational time??
This is important to me. Please answer.

with warm regards,
