Hi, I have quite some trouble installing Oscar 2.0 on a cluster of supermicro rack servers 6012P-6 with two network cards each: eth0: 10/100 Mbit eth1: 1GBit
On the master I use: eth0 as interface to the principal net and eth1 for the local net of the cluster On the nodes I would like to use eth1 as interface to the local cluster. I had several problems: - Oscar does not seem to support nodes using only eth1: PXE does work, but when booting over the network Linux tries to use eth0 to continue and evrything stops. I was not able to fix this with a bootdisk (generated by OSCAR) - when using eth0 on the nodes, PXE, network booting and setting up of the nodes' HD does work, but when nodes reboot on the local hard drive, the route is screwed up and the nodes can not communicate over the network. Any ideas ? Thanks Holger Schwenk ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Get the new Palm Tungsten T handheld.
