Jose-
Make sure the Maui service is running... it's the scheduler which should handle telling PBS when to launch jobs.

Hi all,

I've set up a cluster with Red Hat 7.2 and Oscar 1.4. Everything was all right during installation, but PBS isn't working. Its configuration is as established during the install phase.
When I submit a job to the system (using qsub), it is enqueued (at default workq queue) but it never starts running. It will only start if forced through qrun. If I force two or more jobs, all of the get assigned to the same node even though there are 8 clients in the cluster. The remaining 7 keeps in idle state, so PBS isn't doing any work balance.

How can I get it working properly?

Regards,
