Anyone seen this before?
I want to start the new year off right, so I am installing
OSCAR on my Athlon cluster. I just ran into the first problem.
On a RH7.3 system...
I unpacked the tar file I got from source forge and typed
./install_cluster eth1
I lot happened, then:
--> Installing server core RPMs
Couldn't find file for mm. at /root/oscar-2.1/lib/OSCAR/Package.pm line 330
[OSCAR::PackageBest :: Line 229] - non numeric comparison 2.1.1/2.1.1 cmp
2.2/2.2
Couldn't install the required packages needed for OSCAR Wizard to run at
./wizard_prep line 140
--> Warning: OSCAR find_files errored out
Oscar Wizard preparation script failed to complete at ./install_cluster
line 58.
How do I recover? I can't tell from this message which package is missing.
What does "mm." stand for? I did find that the only version 2.1.1 files
in the package area are:
[root@ac packages]# ^mm^2.1.1
find . -name '*2.1.1*' -print
./c3/RPMS/python2-devel-2.1.1-1.ia64.rpm
./c3/RPMS/python2-devel-2.1.1-1.i386.rpm
./c3/RPMS/python2-2.1.1-1.ia64.rpm
./c3/RPMS/python2-2.1.1-1.i386.rpm
Thanks for your help!
Steve
