I have been in touch many times over the last few days... They have informed me that the PGI product is not supported with ssh and should be used with rsh. With this in mind, can rsh and OSCAR- 1.2.1 work together?
Also, this is what the support person wrote: "ssh is not supported. ssh is controversial, since clusters were originally thought to be on a private LAN for computational speed reasons, and ssh does slow things down."
