V.,
We need some basic information to help debug.
Are you using the pxe method of network installation (without an
etherboot diskette?) or are you using etherboot?
Did you see the kernel get sent across the network and get booted?
Which boot kernel did you use?
Do you know which ethernet card you're using on the client?
Assuming the kernel did boot, what does the error log look like?
14 days is a long time. In the future, you might try for half a day and if
you still have failures, post to this newsgroup. Many of the oscar
developers monitor this list to help users that are stuck...

Subject: [Oscar-users] client boots but reaches RedHat interactive
option screen and stops
I have been working on a small cluster installation for 14 days. I am
using Oskar 1.1 running on RedHat 7.1. There are two PCs in this test
cluster. One is an Oskar server and the second is a client. I already
managed to install the server. I went through steps 1-6 without any error.
The client PC is already willing to boot from the server. But it does not
go through the whole sequence. It stops in the moment when a decision
screen appear (at the client PC). There is written RedHat 7.1 on the
screen if you like to make an interactive setup please press "I". Than the
process stops and nothing other happens after that.
Does somebody have any experience what is the reason and how to solve the
problem.
Thank you.
