Hello,
Thank you for the new kernel I have put it in place an tried the oscar installation again. This time there is no
IP-Config:No Network devices available
complaint but other wise it is still the same and it can't mount the NFS-root system. I have checked the NFS server by mounting the directories manually and that works fine, changes to the pxelinux.cfg file work so it can read that okay. Do you have any ideas of other things I should check or change?
Thanks for all your help,
Matt

Hey, Christmas came early in Oak Ridge! Yep, we've got tarballs fully of compressed kernels & tagged kernels to boot. It looks like someone wanted one without 3Com support and someone else wanted an Old Tulip. Heck, just b/c everyone's been so good there's a package with 'mknbi-linux' (1.2-6).I attached both tarballs ... and it bounced! So I put things on a webpage so you can grab them and not everyone has to get a ~6MB email! (See the info files inside tarballs: FILES, Details.tjn, & Readme.tjn) http://www.csm.ornl.gov/oscar/downloads/ I've not had a chance to really test these, and I'm not sure that I have the exact same hardware anyway? So, please let me know what happens so we can make sure everyone has an enjoyable cluster christmas. ho, ho, ho, --tjn PS Rich, sorry if you get this twice. _________________________________________________________________________ Thomas Naughton [EMAIL PROTECTED] Research Associate (865) 574-3932 _______________________________________________ Oscar-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oscar-users
