OK... here's what I see... Disk paritioned OK. Disk has file systems on the partitions (i.e., fsck OK). There is no data in the file systems (i.e., mounted /dev/hda6 and there were no other mount points or things like "etc"- just the lost+found). Stranger and stranger.... -- Cristopher J.
