the output message follows: ================================================== package sync-users-oscar-1.0-1 is already installed sources: generating source resource for /root/.rhosts Error -- the resource 'root_rhosts' already exists, exiting without creating a(n) source resource. mklimr: The subroutine 'lui_make_resource()' returned with an error! ./alloc_resources: allocating newly defined resources to client machines Resource config_services of type exit successfully allocated to client osnode1. It looks like this system is running the ipchains "service" from Redhat. Too bad (iptables is much nicer and more secure, especially if you get some nice packet filtering ruleset generator like pfilter, hint, hint). But we'll try to fix things so that the OSCAR clients aren't being blocked by the ipchains packet filtering rules. Examining /etc/sysconfig/ipchains ...
