Hello,

I have been muscling my way through a 1.2.1rh72 Oscar
install and I am 90% of the way there. The
test_cluster script was started and made it through
the pbs shell and mpich tests perfectly. The lam test
hit a snag. In drilling into why the lamtest hung in
the queue indefinately in (R) run state I found an
error in the OSCAR_test/test_cluster script:

line 87: export MPI=/opt/lam-6.5.5

The version of LAM installed by Oscar-1.2.1rh72 is
lam-6.5.6. The dir is /opt/lam-6.5.6. With a variable
for a non-existent directory exported it was no
surprise why the test_cluster script hung in the lam
portion.

During further drilling it looks like the LAM
environment is not getting initialized by

  lam_profile=/etc/profile.d/mpi-01lam.sh
  . $lam_profile

I am hoping this looks like familiar ground to
someone. I dont want to go off and manually grind the
test scripts to work when there may be a cause that I
would be whitewashing.

Any help is appreciated!

Jeff
