I tried to follow the how-to document to install OSCAR. The document talked about using the netcfg command to configure the second interface, but I just could not locate this command. I even reinstalled the 7.2 RedHat just to make sure I did not leave out packages. Eventually someone told me that RedHat had dropped netcfg in 7.2, in favor of the RedHat Network Administration Tool.
It'd be very helpful to less savvy Linux administrators if the installation guide that came with the distribution was up to date and followable. -- Wendy Lin ------------- IT Research Computing & Visualization [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www-rcd.cc.purdue.edu/~af5/ _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas - http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm?source=osdntextlink _______________________________________________ Oscar-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oscar-users
