Christine,
We hear you that you need gig-e support. We actually
had a rousing discussion of gig-e last week on this
newsgroup. The net is that we don't support netboot
for gig-e yet, but Brian Finley and the other SIS guys
are working on it (Anything new to add here, Brian?)
Just out of curiousity, do you only have one NIC on
your nodes? If you have a supported 100mb/s ethernet
(maybe the nodes have integrated ethernet?) you could
run a secondary LAN and install over 100mb/s and then
use gig-e just for parallel processing...I know it's a
pain, but it's a thought until we get gig-e support.
If you do have the secondary 100mb/s LAN, OSCAR will
not configure the gig-e LAN, so you'll have to do that
yourself post installation (more pain, I know).
