Hi OSCAR users, I've installed oscar1.2.1-rh72 sucessfully (pass all tests), but I encounter some errors when I'm trying to call lamboot before running my applications. I've added all host names into lam-bhost.def before calling lamboot -dv, and it gave me this: *********************************** LAM 6.5.6/MPI 2 C++/ROMIO - University of Notre Dame
lamboot: boot schema file: /opt/lam-6.5.6/etc/lam-bhost.def lamboot: opening hostfile /opt/lam-6.5.6/etc/lam-bhost.def lamboot: found the following hosts: lamboot: n0 node1 lamboot: n1 oscarnode2 lamboot: n2 oscarnode3 lamboot: n3 oscarnode4 lamboot: n4 oscarnode5 lamboot: resolved hosts: lamboot: n0 node1 --> 10.0.2.1 lamboot: n1 oscarnode2 --> 10.0.2.2 lamboot: n2 oscarnode3 --> 10.0.2.3 lamboot: n3 oscarnode4 --> 10.0.2.4 lamboot: n4 oscarnode5 --> 10.0.2.5 lamboot: found 5 host node(s) lamboot: origin node is 0 (node1) Executing hboot on n0 (node1 - 1 CPU)... lamboot: attempting to execute "hboot -t -c lam-conf.lam -d -v -I " -H 10.0.2.1 -P 4737 -n 0 -o 0 "" hboot: process schema = "/opt/lam-6.5.6/etc/lam-conf.lam" hboot: found /opt/lam-6.5.6/bin/lamd hboot: performing tkill hboot: tkill hboot: booting... hboot: fork /opt/lam-6.5.6/bin/lamd [1] 22756 lamd -H 10.0.2.1 -P 4737 -n 0 -o 0 -d hboot: attempting to execute Executing hboot on n1 (oscarnode2 - 1 CPU)... lamboot: attempting to execute "/usr/bin/ssh oscarnode2 -n echo $SHELL" lamboot: got remote shell /bin/bash lamboot: attempting to execute "/usr/bin/ssh oscarnode2 -n hboot -t -c lam-conf.lam -d -v -s -I "-H 10.0.2.1 -P 4737 -n 1 -o 0 "" bash: hboot: command not found ------------------------------------------------------ LAM failed to execute a LAM binary on the remote node "oscarnode2". Since LAM was already able to determine your remote shell as "hboot", it is probable that this is not an authentication problem. ******************************************* All my host names are node1, oscarnode2, etc... and i think it has no problem in recognizing those. I check every node, and the command hboot is in the same directory w/ lamboot (opt/lam-6.5.6/bin). anybody encounter the same problem?
