DEAR ALL

I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION FOR YOU.

ME AND A CO-WORKER ARE PLACING THE CLUSTER TOGETHER
FROM SCRATCH, WE BUILD THE CASES WITH THE MOTHERBOARDS,
WITH 2 ATHLON 1.67GHz AND 2GB RAM. THE POWER SUPPLIES AND
WIRING IS DONE BY US. HENCE MY PARTNER IS USUALLY BEHIND
ME, HENCE TO SAVE TIME, I INSTALL LINUX REDHAT ON ALL THE
80GB HARD DRIVES TO SAVE TIME, ALL SERVICES, SUCH AS RLOGIN,
RSH, TELNET AND FTP ARE ENABLED . ALSO IDENTITY IS GIVEN TO ALL
THE HARD DRIVES TO BE PLACED IN THE NODES. THEY ALL HAVE DUAL
ETHERNET CARD.

THE INSTALLATION IS CUSTOM - EVER THING ON EACH NODE, WE USE
7200 RPM DRIVES, HENCE IS FAST.

QUESTION:

IS????????

COULD I START SETTING UP THE CLUSTERS WITHOUT REPARTITION
AND SELECTING THE DISK PARTITION FILE TO PRESERVE THE SAME
PARTITION ON EACH NODE?

1. THEN COLLECT MAS ADDRESSES AND JUMP TO CONFIGURE DHCP
SERVER.
2. COMPLETE CLUSTER SETUP
3. TEST CLUSTER SETUP

I BELIEVE I DO NOT HAVE TO CREATE AN /etc/dhcpd.conf NEITHER
an /etc/exports FILE. THESE ARE BEING GENERATED BY OSCAR??

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF SOME OF THE ABOVE COULD BE DONE
AND WHAT IS WRONG.

THANKS AND REGARDS,
